Home of the Oscars — Specifically designed as the venue for the annual Academy Awards – stars arrive along Hollywood Boulevard and walk through the towering portal that serves as the grand entrance. Limestone clads the convex curved portal and juliet balcony overlook. The hall from the front entrance to the grand stairway (leading up to the theater) is flanked by storefronts, as well as Art Deco stone columns displaying the names of past recipients of the Academy Award for Best Picture.
